Thanks, Brett! We're glad to hear you and Linda are happy with your new home. You've moved to a small community that truly is a community. So, of course we want you to be happy--you're not just owners, you're neighbors now and friends too.

Have you taken the grandkids below the wharf at low tide yet? Purple, orange and red seastars (starfish) are just a few of the neat things to see. And we had the wooden boats in town the other day too--always fun when the town is teeming with pirates!

One thing that must be said is that the developers of the units are committed to making sure your unit is perfect. We strive to keep our property in great shape. We heard before we purchased, the family that developed these properties will make it right if something is not. This has been true.

The materials are high end in the units. The location is great. The landscaping is great. The other owners seem to be take pride in ownership because of this. Location and materials and workmanship mean everything.

We brought our grandchildren and my daughter and son-in-law to Coupeville. My grandchildren are hooked. Their family loves the size of the town. They love the friendly people, country market , little places for coffee, and beaches.

Thanks. W.I. Conservation District is just around the corner in Coupeville near the courthouse. You can also order native plants through their annual sale, learn about stewardship programs for farms, shore stewards and more.

We just made a Rain Garden poster that your friends at WHidbey can get from Whidbey Island Conservation District.

They teach people on the island all about rain gardens and low impact development.

Best of luck with your efforts to protect Puget Sound and our future through shifts to green living and lighter footprints on the Earth.

Best fishes,
